Today I received a package filled with juices from a product line called Sambazon. When I tell you that it is the most amazing juice I have ever tasted, I am not exagerating. Yes, it is that good. Sambazon is made with acai (pronounced ah-sigh-EE), which is a berry found in the Brazilian Amazon. This berry, acai, is a delicious and powerful nutritious dark purple berry that grows in 60 foot tall palm trees in the lush flood plains that line the Amazon river.
First I tried Shaman’s Immunity….very tasty! Then I tried Strawberry Sensation, another favorite. What is wonderful about this product is that my children could not stop drinking it. They were actually fighting over it. Now, my children are young, 3 and 5. So, if they like, that is a huge plus. They are receiving acerola, which has 10 times the vitamin C of orange juice. It is organic, another huge plus. The drinks also are rich with antioxidants, healthy omegas, protein and fiber.
My friend Sally was over so I asked her to try some. First she was hesitant, but I insisted telling her she “must try some.” She drank, within minutes, the Mango Uprising. I smiled when she was done.
When I opened up the literature that came with the package, all I noticed, was that two very attractive men were on the packet; these two men started the company. After reading, I found out that one of the gentleman was on the show The Bachelorette. Well, that makes sense.
Good luck guys! I hope everyone goes out and buys Sambazon juices.
You cand find Sambazon juices at the following stores: Whole Foods Market, Wild Oats and Jamba Juice. or go to: www.sambazon.com
By the way, I have several flavors left which I am saving for tomorrow. I am sure they will be gone by the end of the day!

Ciao!
Today’s entry is Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer for all skin types. I bought this product at Sephora after asking the salesperson for a face product that will protect and nourish my skin. Juice Beauty lives up to it’s name. Not only does it go on easily without smelling like summer spf’s, it works and lasts throughout the day. I even use it on my children. What I really love about the product is that it is organic. It contains no parabens….parabens you ask? parabens are ingredients used in many products that the medical field has found to cause cancer. Do I know this for sure? No. But, if a medical journal comes up with evidence that says an ingredient may cause cancer, you bet I am going to stay away from it. Parabens are found in many different products. For example, Shampoos, conditioners, skin creams, toothpastes, sun protection. See, it is in many products that you would never imagine. I will write about it in greater detail at a later date. Back to Juice Beauty; it has an spf of 30 - how awesome is that! I say koodos to Juice Beauty for making a product that protects and nourish my skin.

Men everywhere….yes, come forward! I wanted to speak with you about a product line, just for men that male product junkies will love.
Men like to pamper themselves too. They may not want to admit it, but sales have proven that the mens market has sky rocketed in the last several years.
Anthony Logistics for Men is a line designed just for men. Each and every product on their line uses natural ingredients to make the male skin (and hair) softer and more manageable. Anthony Logistics for Men makes shaving a pleasure rather than a chore. Their hair product line smells amazing and (from my male companion) “my hair is softer, shinier and easy to manage.” In my opinion, I like to see a man taking the time to care for himself. The shaving line is a no brainer. You do not need to use each product from this line, but I do recommend The pre-shave oil, shave cream & after shave balm. These products combined contain natural ingredients to help with razor burn, bumps, ingrown hairs and inflamation. Here are some of the ingredients: olive oil, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, squaline, aloe vera, vitamins A, B5, C & E plus allantoin and benzocaine.
You can purchase Anthony Logistics for Men at www.anthony.com
My second review for this evening will be for the most amazing hair cut….ever!
I first met Arsen Gurgov at the Louis Licari hair salon many years ago. He is the epitomy of tall, dark and handsome with an alluring accent to boot! What is so wonderful about Arsen is that he makes each and every person that sits in his chair feel like a movie star. Did I mention that he has touched Ellen Barkins tresses? From the moment his eyes set on you, he has this amazing ability to make you feel that you are the only one in the room. Whether you are a man or a woman, this is a wonderful feeling. With that being said, when he is done cutting and styling your hair, you look like you stepped out of a magazine. So, if you live in the New York Metropolitan area or are in the area visiting, make an appoitment with Arsen. You will thank me later. Tell him Leorah sent you!

I completely love the Eminence Organic Skin Care Line, especially the Rich Black Perlette Grape Moisterizer which smooths and totally pampers my formerly dry skin. It was introduced to be by the gifted Goddess of Facials, Marva, of Bala Natural Skincare, her attentive-down-to-the-heated-bed skin care loft in Montclair, New Jersey. If you are fortunate enough to get to Marva for a facial, she’ll direct you to the Eminence product of your dreams and will use their products to meticulously care for your skin the way you wish you had been doing for the last fifteen years. Should the lovely Marva not be in your near future (what a pitty!!!), by all means visit the Eminence website, www.eminenceorganics.com . My fave, the Rich Black Perlette, smells amazing and lives up to its promise of dewy, line-free skin. An aquaintence matter of factly stated my age as eight years younger than my birth certificate would substantiate, and I think Black Perlette is the reason!
p.s. To you, Dear Product Lover:
Enjoy the moisturizer, and ignore (and then please recycle!) the silly and unnessessary box. Yes, it looks cute and Marva will wrap it up like a birthday present for you, but it’s really a waste, even it it’s made from recycled card board. Oh! To love skin care and the planet, too..

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to taste several different types of pretzel rods. My friend and I went into a gift store and much to my delight, there were samples of these delictable treats just calling out my name. Since they were screaming for me to eat them, I did just that. There were two different kinds cut into small pieces. One pretzel rod was lightly salted with peanut butter, caramel, milk chocolate and toffee. One word comes to mind, AMAZING! The other prezel rod, also lightly salted, had marshmallow, caramel, milk chocolate and dark chocolate flakes. It was good too, but I cannot rave enough about the one with peanut butter. I, being the constant conversationalist, went over to the salesperson and asked about the samples. The name of the company is yummie. I think they named the company very appropriately. She continued to tell me about the product line, which is new to their store. The peanut butter is 100% all natural, as well as the marshmallow. The chocolate, which was delicious, was Swiss chocolate and the pretzel rods had no hydrogenated oils. So what does all this mean? yummie, of course! The pretzel rods come in two different packages. One, has 3 pretzel rods in it and the other has 9 pretzel rods in it. I think it would be a great hostess gift or, dare I say, a gift for yourself!

As a product junkie, a lover, shall we say of products, I, Leorah am going to share my life’s experience with products from all over the world with you. Each and everyday I am spending time and money on my obsession, products, so it occured to me recently, why not share it with everyone. I am a connoisser of body scrubs, face creams, handbags, shoes, chocolate, drinks (non-alcoholic) and so much more. Each week, I will share my knowledge. For you, the consumer, the information is free, so enjoy the reading and let’s begin!
My first review is a watermelon body scrub by the company Korres Natural Products. It is a combination of ground bamboo with jojoba beads which are supposed to “effectively” remove dead cells and improve circulation. Now, whether or not this product “effectively” removed anything from my body, that I cannot say and quite frankly I will never know. But, and this is a big but, I love the product regardless of what it should or could do. It smells invigorating and wonderful. It is soft enough on my skin where I do not feel like my skin is being ruined. Lastly, I would love it if the company made a body cream to compliment the scrub. There is nothing better than smelling edible!
There are many other products from this company and each one makes me want to buy another. So, go Korres!
