Sorry to everyone! I needed to take a leave of absence. I will be writing weekly articles from now on.
The Naked Bee is an all natural line of skin and hair products. The more I try products, the more I tend to gravitate towards all natural skin care lines. The all natural hair lines leave much to be desired, but from what I have been reading, the companies are working on making them better.
Okay, so back to The Naked Bee. First, the line is Made in the USA. Nothing against other countries, but it is nice to see anything made here. Second, the line is 70% Organic. Third, it smells amazing!
The Naked Bee line consists of Body Products, A Sun Care Line, A Facial Line, and shampoo and conditioner. I have processed, dry and “difficult” hair. I think this hair care line would be best for someone who has “normal” hair. If they come out with a deep cleansing hair mask, that would be best for me. I loved the hand and body lotion; the smell and the softness were amazing! I received many compliments on the smell and when I touched my hand, oh was it soft. I am going to try their Sun Care Line as soon as summer hits, but until then the hand and body lotions are my fav.

One last note. For anyone with skin allergies, I think this product line would do wonders for your skin. It has no propylene glycol, no mineral oil and no harsh chemicals. No laurel or laureth sulfate, no drying alcohol and no animal testing. Go Naked Bee!

Today I received a package filled with juices from a product line called Sambazon. When I tell you that it is the most amazing juice I have ever tasted, I am not exagerating. Yes, it is that good. Sambazon is made with acai (pronounced ah-sigh-EE), which is a berry found in the Brazilian Amazon. This berry, acai, is a delicious and powerful nutritious dark purple berry that grows in 60 foot tall palm trees in the lush flood plains that line the Amazon river.
First I tried Shaman’s Immunity….very tasty! Then I tried Strawberry Sensation, another favorite. What is wonderful about this product is that my children could not stop drinking it. They were actually fighting over it. Now, my children are young, 3 and 5. So, if they like, that is a huge plus. They are receiving acerola, which has 10 times the vitamin C of orange juice. It is organic, another huge plus. The drinks also are rich with antioxidants, healthy omegas, protein and fiber.
My friend Sally was over so I asked her to try some. First she was hesitant, but I insisted telling her she “must try some.” She drank, within minutes, the Mango Uprising. I smiled when she was done.
When I opened up the literature that came with the package, all I noticed, was that two very attractive men were on the packet; these two men started the company. After reading, I found out that one of the gentleman was on the show The Bachelorette. Well, that makes sense.

Today’s entry is Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer for all skin types. I bought this product at Sephora after asking the salesperson for a face product that will protect and nourish my skin. Juice Beauty lives up to it’s name. Not only does it go on easily without smelling like summer spf’s, it works and lasts throughout the day. I even use it on my children. What I really love about the product is that it is organic. It contains no parabens….parabens you ask? parabens are ingredients used in many products that the medical field has found to cause cancer. Do I know this for sure? No. But, if a medical journal comes up with evidence that says an ingredient may cause cancer, you bet I am going to stay away from it. Parabens are found in many different products. For example, Shampoos, conditioners, skin creams, toothpastes, sun protection. See, it is in many products that you would never imagine. I will write about it in greater detail at a later date. Back to Juice Beauty; it has an spf of 30 - how awesome is that! I say koodos to Juice Beauty for making a product that protects and nourish my skin.

What is so wonderful about Arsen is that he makes each and every person that sits in his chair feel like a movie star. Did I mention that he has touched Ellen Barkins tresses? From the moment his eyes set on you, he has this amazing ability to make you feel that you are the only one in the room. Whether you are a man or a woman, this is a wonderful feeling. With that being said, when he is done cutting and styling your hair, you look like you stepped out of a magazine.
