I completely love the Eminence Organic Skin Care Line, especially the Rich Black Perlette Grape Moisterizer which smooths and totally pampers my formerly dry skin. It was introduced to be by the gifted Goddess of Facials, Marva, of Bala Natural Skincare, her attentive-down-to-the-heated-bed skin care loft in Montclair, New Jersey. If you are fortunate enough to get to Marva for a facial, she’ll direct you to the Eminence product of your dreams and will use their products to meticulously care for your skin the way you wish you had been doing for the last fifteen years. Should the lovely Marva not be in your near future (what a pitty!!!), by all means visit the Eminence website, www.eminenceorganics.com .  My fave, the Rich Black Perlette, smells amazing and lives up to its promise of dewy, line-free skin. An aquaintence matter of factly stated my age as eight years younger than my birth certificate would substantiate, and I think Black Perlette is the reason!

p.s. To you, Dear Product Lover:

Enjoy the moisturizer, and ignore (and then please recycle!) the silly and unnessessary box. Yes, it looks cute and Marva will wrap it up like a birthday present for you, but it’s really a waste, even it it’s made from recycled card board. Oh! To love skin care and the planet, too..

Hostess Gift

Posted in Uncategorized at 11:00p09 by Administrator

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to taste several different types of pretzel rods. My friend and I went into a gift store and much to my delight, there were samples of these delictable treats just calling out my name. Since they were screaming for me to eat them, I did just that. There were two different kinds cut into small pieces. One pretzel rod was lightly salted with peanut butter, caramel, milk chocolate and toffee. One word comes to mind, AMAZING! The other prezel rod, also lightly salted, had marshmallow, caramel, milk chocolate and dark chocolate flakes. It was good too, but I cannot rave enough about the one with peanut butter. I, being the constant conversationalist, went over to the salesperson and asked about the samples. The name of the company is yummie. I think they named the company very appropriately. She continued to tell me about the product line, which is new to their store. The peanut butter is 100% all natural, as well as the marshmallow. The chocolate, which was delicious, was Swiss chocolate and the pretzel rods had no hydrogenated oils. So what does all this mean? yummie, of course! The pretzel rods come in two different packages. One, has 3 pretzel rods in it and the other has 9 pretzel rods in it. I think it would be a great hostess gift or, dare I say, a gift for yourself!

Welcome to Leorah’s product reviews

Posted in Uncategorized at 11:00p09 by Administrator

Ciao!

As a product junkie, a lover, shall we say of products, I, Leorah am going to share my life’s experience with products from all over the world with you. Each and everyday I am spending time and money on my obsession, products,  so it occured to me recently, why not share it with everyone. I am a connoisser of body scrubs, face creams, handbags, shoes, chocolate, drinks (non-alcoholic) and so much more. Each week, I will share my knowledge. For you, the consumer, the information is free, so enjoy the reading and let’s begin!

My first review is a watermelon body scrub by the company Korres Natural Products. It is a combination of ground bamboo with jojoba beads which are supposed to “effectively” remove dead cells and improve circulation.  Now, whether or not this product “effectively” removed anything from my body, that I cannot say and quite frankly I will never know. But, and this is a big but, I love the product regardless of what it should or could do. It smells invigorating and wonderful. It is soft enough on my skin where I do not feel like my skin is being ruined.  Lastly, I would love it if the company made a body cream to compliment the scrub. There is nothing better than smelling edible!

There are many other products from this company and each one makes me want to buy another. So, go Korres!
